OUR TEAM

Regulators. Architects.
Builders.

The people behind SourcePath have collectively overseen thousands of healthcare facilities from the regulatory side. Now they're building the tools they wish existed.

SourcePath is led by a team that combines deep regulatory expertise with operational and technology leadership. We've been on both sides of the survey clipboard.

Michael Mireau, Co-Founder of SourcePath Systems

Michael Mireau

CO-FOUNDER & REGULATORY ARCHITECT

Licensed Architect (MN, WI) NFPA Fire Inspector I M.Arch UW-Milwaukee 23 Years Experience

Michael is the regulatory mind behind SourcePath. As former Principal Architect and Engineering Supervisor at the Minnesota Department of Health, he led physical environment oversight of 2,070+ existing and 250+ new state-licensed assisted living facilities, managing a team of 13 engineers, architects, sanitarians, zoning officials, and fire marshals.

He doesn't just know codes. He thinks like a regulator because he was one. He supervised the teams that conducted surveys, reviewed construction plans, and interpreted ambiguous code language. That systems-level understanding of how regulations, buildings, operations, and people interact is what SourcePath's AI learns to replicate.

Dan Hatch, Co-Founder of SourcePath Systems

Dan Hatch

CO-FOUNDER & REGULATORY ARCHITECT

Licensed Building Architect Regulatory Domain Expert Physical Environment Specialist

Dan is a licensed building architect whose career has centered on healthcare facility compliance: NFPA Life Safety Code, CMS physical environment requirements, and the realities of how buildings are actually surveyed. His perspective bridges the gap between how buildings are designed and how they are surveyed.

His concept that "the building becomes the interface" shapes how SourcePath represents physical spaces, systems, and compliance relationships within the platform. Dan anchors the regulatory foundation that everything else is built on: capturing code knowledge, validating interpretations, and mapping building systems to life safety requirements.

Role at SourcePath

  • Regulatory validation and code interpretation authority
  • Physical environment UX architecture ("the building becomes the interface")
  • Code interpretation cross-validation and knowledge capture
  • Building systems and life safety compliance mapping
